Student Activities

• Art & Photography Unit: Various paintings, pieces of art, photographs and artefacts are exhibited once a month. The artists, modellers and photographers from the department of Medical, Art, Photography & modelling co-ordinate with the staff and students to arrange the Art Club exhibitions. The initiative and the active interest shown by the management have made it a success.
• Music, Theatre & Dance Club: The aptitude and interest of the students are enquired and enlisted by the Student Welfare Department – as soon as the students join the college. Accordingly, a vocal music teacher of repute, Prof. Shantaram Hegde is holding regular vocal music classes since December 2005. Musical instruments have been made available. An instrumental music teacher, Mr. Joseph Fletcher is visiting weekly since April 2006 to teach the students. These classes are conducted by the active involvement of the students themselves.
• Literary Club: Articles written in Kannada, Hindi, English, Marathi and Urdu are encouraged. The Literary Club notice boards display these articles in fortnightly cycles. The students have a novelty feature every fortnight to read and enrich themselves.

Nature Club was started with the purpose of exposing students to the raw beauty of Nature. The club has organized a number of treks to various places since its inception, in which students have participated with great enthusiasm. The nature club has succeeded in instilling a love for the flora & fauna in students.
